King’s Cardiology strives to be the first choice in cardiology for our patients and referring doctors.

Our cardiologist and team members work closely with each patient to plan the best possible treatment and follow up care. We endeavour to maintain a professional yet fuss free appointment process at all our practices while being transparent about our fees and charges.

Appointments & what to bring

Please bring :

  • A current referral letter (Referral from GP valid for 12 months, from a Specialist 3months)
  • A list of your current medications or the medication boxes
  • Your Medicare Card and Private health fund card
  • DVA or Pension Card

Fees

Fees for patients with Medicare

We are a private billing practice and our gap is charged on a per consultation basis.

Please call the individual practice to confirm as fees may differ.

Fees for patients without Medicare

We charge standard AMA rates For patients without Medicare. Please contact your private insurance provider quoting the item numbers listed below prior to booking a consultation.

As we endeavour to minimise repeat visits (to reduce costs to patients) , Echocardiography and a Standard 12 lead ECG is usually performed on the initial visit.

Cancellation Policy

Please inform us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment date if you are unable to make it so that other patients may be seen. Failure to do so will incur a charge.
